Do you have partly_cloudy.png image of google api? Some google images are not still here.

Hi,

Thanx .. but my XML gets loaded in flash and that's where I get lost..

the action script that loads the img is as follows. ..

loaded = 0;
icon_loader.loadClip("http://www.canindia.com"+WeatherData[0][3], "img1.holder"); // loading image 1

I tried changing the path here but it did'nt work .

There is no problem sounding dumb! And you're not.

I say "matching the weather condition string" because in my app, I query the google weathering service ( http://www.google.com/ig/ap... ) and then parse the xml result. I have a result as follow :
<condition data="Nuageux dans l'ensemble"/>
<temp_f data="32"/>
<temp_c data="0"/>
<humidity data="Humidité : 60 %"/>
<icon data="/ig/images/weather/mostly_cloudy.gif"/>

Then I extract the piece of information "icon data" and translate the path to my custom png file (/ig/images/weather/mostly_cloudy.gif => http://www.mydomain/myapp/images/mostly_cloudy.png). But you need to create your png images.

I'm sorry if I sound dumb, but I don't understand how to "match the weather condition string"

I am a lill new to this .. where can I find that string.. I've modified everything else to make it look the way I want.. all I need is the PNGs tto show up.

I did it for my app by matching the weather condition string to my custom png pictures.
You can also match the gif file path to your custom png pictures...

Overcast,
Chance of Showers,
Rain Showers,
Scattered Showers,
Light Rain,
Drizzle,
Clear

Do you know where to find the glossy nice images from the "Google Weather" gadget for Google Desktop on Windows (side bar)

I checked the source code of Weather.gg gadget, and found nothing.
They should be downloaded from somewhere in Google cloud. Perhaps should i check with a etherreal or local squid

I came across mostly_cloudy.gif on a google forecast today. Google has a corresponding image. I appreciate your images and they look much better than the Google images. Would you guys be willing to make an image for this state that is missing from your data?

I think there's a typo. Didn't find a rainy.gif in the google image directory but a rain.gif. Remove that y and it works :)
